A Tanka retailer and one of our Myspace friends, Susan Foster, director of operations for Navajo Fine Jewelry and Collectibles, took some time recently to take a photo of her crew showing their support for Tanka Bar.

Besides offering Tanka Bars, Navajo Fine Jewelry and Collectibles carries a wide range of jewelry, rugs, collectibles and pottery. They have five locations in Arizona and two in New Mexico. The main location is in Window Rock, AZ.

The stores are owned by Navajo Arts and Crafts Enterprise (NACE), a non-profit organization. The Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild was established in 1941 in order to combat an influx of counterfeit Native American crafts in the Four Corners region. The organization serves as a marketing resource for the Navajo Nation for arts and crafts.

NACE donates thousands of dollars back to the Navajo Nation. It offers payroll deductions, donate to various tribal programs, and also provide scholarships.

Thanks, Susan, for sharing this photo!
