USDA: Heart Healthy
*All Tanka products meet the USDA and Code of Federal Regulations requirements for a Heart Healthy claim. Buffalo with Heart logo is a service mark of Native American Natural Foods. More on buffalo as a Heart Healthy meat

USDA: Inspected and approved
All Tanka products are inspected and approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. All products carry the USDA's trangle logo which indicates inspected and approved bison products.

All food companies are required to comply with all Federal Food Safety Guidelines. While there is no FDA stamp of approval, any food product containing meat has to carry either a State or Federal stamp of approval with the facility number on it.

Because Tanka products contain meat, they are regulated under the USDA and each Tanka Bar Bite and Bar package includes the stamp of inspection on it. The white triangle is the USDA mark for bison.
